ADVERTISING & EXHIBIT SALES ASSISTANT


Reports to:  Manager, Advertising & Exhibit Sales
Department: Business Development
Classification:  Non Exempt, Overtime Eligible

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Providing primary administrative support to the Manager of Advertising & Exhibit Sales of an international aviation association
  • Assisting Manager in selling exhibit space and sponsorships for the Association’s annual exposition, HELI-EXPO® and the Association’s HELI-CENTERs at other industry trade shows
  • Assisting with the sale of advertising space in the Association’s print and electronic publications
  • Assisting Manager in marketing exhibit, sponsorship, and advertising opportunities
  • Assisting Manager with coordination of advertising materials and support for sales
    representative
  • Entering and maintaining client records in database
  • Generating sales reports and compiling statistical data
  • Other duties as assigned

DESIRED REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of one year prior experience in sales and marketing
  • Excellent oral and written business communication skills including phone and email
  • Strong computer skills with software experience in Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Excel
  • Detail-oriented, self starter, with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Team player with proven customer service experience
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to travel
