To reach the HAI headquarters building, please follow the directions below:

From I-495/Capital Beltway – Woodrow Wilson Bridge:
Cross Woodrow Wilson Bridge into Virginia; take Exit 177B onto Route 1/Richmond Hwy; after approx. 5 blocks, turn left onto Duke Street; after 6 blocks, turn left onto John Carlyle Street; cross traffic circle and go one block; the HAI building is on the right, on the corner of John Carlyle Street and Ballenger Avenue.

From I-495/Capital Beltway – Springfield Interchange:
From I-495, take Telegraph Road Exit 176B; turn right onto Duke Street (heading east toward Old Town Alexandria downtown); after 2 blocks, turn right onto John Carlyle Street; cross traffic circle and go one block; the HAI building is on the right, on the corner of John Carlyle Street and Ballenger Avenue.

From I-395/Henry G. Shirley Memorial Highway:
From I-395, take Duke Street East exit; after approx. 5 miles, turn right onto John Carlyle Street; cross traffic circle and go one block; the HAI building is on the right, on the corner of John Carlyle Street and Ballenger Avenue.

From King Street Metro Station (Blue and Yellow Lines):
Cross King Street Metro parking lot onto Reinekers Lane; continue on Reinekers past Joe Theismann’s Restaurant; cross Duke Street opposite Whole Foods and turn right; after 1 block, turn left onto John Carlyle Street; cross traffic circle and go one block; the HAI building is on the right, on the corner of John Carlyle Street and Ballenger Avenue.

Please note: there is underground parking at the rear of the building, accessible from John Carlyle Street. Upon arrival, please call HAI reception on 703-683-4646 for entry instructions.
