Castleberry does it again with its new autopilot gyro.  Austin based Castleberry Instruments & Avionics is proud to introduce the new HeliSAS® gyro.  HeliSAS® Stability Augmentation and Autopilot System for Helicopters, is the latest technology breakthrough for Cobham Avionics.  In cooperation with Cobham Avionics, Castleberry designed and produced this latest gyro specifically for the new generation of Helicopter safety equipment.  The HeliSAS® dramatically reduces pilot workload while providing precise control during all modes of flight, regardless of wind conditions or shifts in weight.  This latest addition of autopilot gyro further expands Castleberry’s reach in autopilot instrumentation.  Castleberry also currently produces vacuum and electric autopilot gyros for S-TEC, Century, and Bendix King autopilot systems.
