Introduction to IS-BAO Workshop

Description:
This workshop is designed to assist operators implementing, or considering implementing, the IS-BAO Standard. The workshop content includes: (1) Background and General Information about IS-BAO, (2) Detailed Discussion about IS-BAO standards, (3) Implementing IS-BAO, (4) Safety Management Systems (SMS), (5) Risk Assessment and Mitigation Techniques, and (6) Audit Processes.
To gain full benefit from the workshop participants should bring: (1) IS-BAO an International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations, (2) SMS Toolkit, and (3) the IS-BAO Internal Audit Manual. These items can be ordered at www.ibac.org.
Workshop Fee is $500 (US) per attendee.

IS-BAO Auditor Accreditation Workshop

Description:
This workshop is required for the initial and renewal accreditation of IS-BAO auditors, and recommended for operators/individuals who want to learn more about internal auditing so they can be better prepared for an IS-BAO audit. Auditors applying for initial accreditation must also attend the Introduction to IS-BAO Workshop. The workshop content includes (1) IS-BAO Concept, History, and Status, (2) Audit Basics and Process, (3) SMS Evaluation, (4) Following the Protocols, (5) Audit Findings, (6) Preparing Audit Reports, and (7) Auditor Issues.
Workshop Fee Structure:
$750 (US) – per internal (non-accreditation) auditor attendee
$1,000 (US) – per renewal attendee
$2,500 (US) – per accreditation auditor attendee (includes accreditation, Listing on IBAC web site, and auditor credentials)
** Includes a copy of the IS-BAO Audit Procedures Manual
