All organizations need leaders who can bring people together to accomplish business and safety objectives and obtain successful results. Often, competitive advantage is based on the performance of a company’s personnel. The supervisor is often the pivotal communication link between the line employees and executive management. In this short course, we will review some key characteristics that successful supervisors possess.

Instructor

Cathy Landry has been involved in the aviation maintenance training field for most of her career. She currently operates Northrop Rice, a legacy division of AlphaBravo LLC, and focuses on the development and implementation of maintenance training programs, courses, and on-the-job training processes.

During employment in the family business, Northrop Rice USA, Landry assisted in the set-up, certification, and operation of their numerous domestic aviation maintenance training schools. She also served as a project manager overseeing the curriculum development, equipment acquisition, instructor training and program development for a 1,000 student training program developed for the government of Malaysia. She has a bachelor of science degree and is a certified professional in learning performance (CPLP) through the American Society of Training and Development
