Instructor
Kristi Dunks is a senior air safety investigator with the National Transportation Safety Board. Since 2003, she has served as the investigator-in-charge as well as the airworthiness group chairman of numerous aircraft accidents. Dunks is a dual-rated commercial pilot for helicopters and airplanes, a certificated flight instructor, and holds a mechanic certificate. She obtained a bachelor of science in aviation operations from Westminster College and a master’s of aeronautical science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
