HELICOPTER ASSOCIATION OF CANADA PRESIDENT/CEO

The Helicopter Association of Canada is currently seeking a President/CEO.  Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the HAC President/CEO is a home-based office position which may be located
anywhere in Canada. Preference will be given to bilingual candidates.

The Long-Term Goal — A VHA Helicopter

Chief Warrant Officer David S. Williams, an Army Apache Helicopter Pilot, was shot down over Baghdad during the initial U.S. invasion of Iraq.  He survived the crash landing, escaped into the darkness, and evaded capture for 45 grueling minutes before being taken hostage by an angry mob of mercenaries.  He was then delivered into the hands of the Iraqi Revolutionary Guard who shuffled him from prison to prison, until he was rescued by the U.S. Marines, on April 13 2003.

The National Association of State Aviation Officials (NASAO) is hosting its 76th Annual Convention and Trade Show in Portland, Oregon. The convention offers the opportunity to meet with the key aviation decision-makers from all 50 state governments, as well as Guam and Puerto Rico. There are numerous convention topics and technical sessions presented by distinguished experts. Additionally, NASAO convention social activities provide unparalleled networking opportunities with state and federal government aviation professionals, as well as national aviation industry leaders.

The Professional Helicopter Pilots Association (PHPA) is hosting the second annual Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) sponsored Helicopter Forum in Van Nuys, California on Wednesday February 21, 2007. Proposed items for discussion include: general helicopter operations in the LA Basin, training activities for in the LA Basin, air traffic organization input, letters of agreement at towered airport, standard operating procedures at non-towered airports, heliport signs and markings, and airport specific operations.
