HAI joined more than 7,000 visitors in attendance at RotorFest 2009, hosted by the American Helicopter Museum & Education Center.  The two day event showcased the value and excitement of rotary wing flight to crowds in West Chester, Pennsylvania.  Military and civilian aircraft were featured in flight demonstrations and ground displays while rides were offered throughout the day.

Alexandria, VA (October 2, 2009) – The Association of Air Medical Services (AAMS) today applauded the White House for nominating Mark R. Rosekind, Ph.D., an expert on fatigue and its effects on productivity and safe flight operations, to the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB).

Alexandria, VA – A new medical journal study "serves as an important tool in helping refine treatment protocols, particularly for those critically ill and injured patients in remote areas whose lives may depend on the advanced drugs and sophisticated patient-treatment tools and monitoring equipment that medical teams typically employ prior to and during rapid air-medical transport," said Sandra Kinkade, president of the Association of Air Medical Services.

The Combat Helicopter Pilots Association will gather for their fifth Annual Meeting in Savannah, GA, October 1 through October 4, 2009.

HAI affiliate member American Heroes Aviation Network, Inc. will be hosting the next American Heroes Air Show on Saturday, July 11, 2009 at the Hansen Dam in Lake View Terrace, CA.
