Bell Helicopter Appoints New Russian Sales Representative:
Announces Five Aircraft Purchase Agreements
Las Vegas, NV – Bell Helicopter, a Textron Inc. company (NYSE: TXT), announced the appointment of Helidrive as its new independent representative for Russia. Helidrive is the first Bell Helicopter authorized independent sales representative in northwest Russia. Bell Helicopter and Helidrive also announced recent purchase agreements for five aircraft - two Bell 429s and three Bell 407GXs.

Aircraft purchase agreements were finalized during the past 90 days with deliveries expected in 2013. The aircraft will be flown for a combination of corporate/VIP and EMS missions in the Saint-Petersburg region of Russia.
Helidrive was founded in 2011 and has since established itself as a premier sales, service and training center for vertical lift in Russia. Its current structure includes an administration building with offices, classrooms and a VIP lounge, maintenance facility and aviation fuel storage depot, helipads and hangars. The expansion of its state-of-the-art facility, to be completed in late 2013, will include a multi-functional complex with a large showroom floor and private helicopter hangars. The completed facility will encompass a total building area of 8,000 m2 (26,246 sq. ft.).
Bell Helicopter and Air Medical Holdings Group Reach Landmark Deal for 30 Helicopters
Fort Worth, TX – Bell Helicopter, a Textron Inc. company (NYSE: TXT), announced an agreement for the sale of 30 Bell helicopters — 24 Bell 407 and six Bell 206L-4 helicopters — to Air Medical Group Holdings (AMGH), one of the largest independent provider of helicopter emergency medical services (HEMS) in the world. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in 2013 through 2018. This order marks one of the largest orders in the recent history of HELI-EXPO.

AMGH subsidiary Air Evac Lifeteam is a West Plains, Missouri-based provider of air ambulance services to rural communities across 14 states. Bell 429 Cargo Basket Available Through Aeronautical Accessories
Las Vegas, NV – Bell Helicopter has announced it is distributing a new cargo basket under its Aeronautical Accessories brand, produced by Aero Design Ltd. for the Bell 429 aircraft.
The new product was developed jointly through Bell Helicopter and Aero Design. The quick release cargo basket received Transport Canada certification supplemental type certificate SH12-58 in Nov. 2012 and European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) approval in January and is approved for instrument flight rules and Category A operations.
The cargo basket can be used in a variety of market applications including utility, forestry, tourism and mineral exploration to transport mission-critical tooling and equipment. To ensure full functionality of the cabin doors, the cargo basket is designed to be installed low on either the right or left hand side of the aircraft. With a reinforced, slip resistant checkered plate lid, maintenance personnel can perform inspections without removing the basket. Total installed weight is 102.4 pounds (46.55 kg) and allowable cargo weight is 300 pounds (136.6 kg).
