GPS testing is scheduled as follows and may result in unreliable or unavailable GPS signal.
A. Location: Centered at 381541N/0762612W or the RIC VORTAC 042 degree radial at 62NM.
B. Dates and times:
21 – 22 MAR 13 1300Z – 2200Z
25 – 29 MAR 13 1300Z – 2200Z
01 – 05 APR 13 1300Z – 2200Z
08 – 12 APR 13 1300Z – 2200Z
15 – 19 APR 13 1300Z – 2200Z
C. Duration: Each event may last the entire time during the requested periods.
D. During testing, the GPS signal may be unreliable or unavailable within a radius of 15 nm and centered at 381541N/0762612W or the location also known as the Richmond, VA VORTAC (RIC) at 042 RADIAL at 62 NM from 50FT AGL to FL400 and above.
E. Pilots are strongly encouraged to report anomalies during testing to the appropriate ARTCC to assist in the determination of the extent of GPS degradation during tests. The NOTAMs discussed in this advisory may change with little or no notice. Pilots are advised to check NOTAMs frequently for possible changes prior to operations in the area. NOTAMs will be published at least 24 hours in advance of any GPS tests.
