A new Dept. of Transportation inspector general (IG) report indicates that some of the FAA's control towers are using 42 to 98 percent more resources than others, costing the agency more than $850 million, while another IG report criticizes the FAA's implementation of a satellite-based air traffic control system for moving too slowly and exceeding anticipated costs.

A new Kaiser Family Foundation analysis has found that roughly a quarter of employers offering health plans would likely trigger the Obamacare tax in 2018, rising to 30 percent in 2023 and 40 percent in 2028 assuming health care costs continue to grow at their expected rate.
