Charter member John Dorcey of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, took the helm of the Society of Aviation and Flight Educators (SAFE) on Jan. 5 as interim Executive Director (E.D.), succeeding long-time Doug Stewart, who announced his retirement in November. Stewart was a founder of SAFE in 2009 and through the years helped build SAFE to its present eminence.

The MedEvac Foundation International is seeking applicants for the 2015 Medical Transport Leadership Institute (MTLI) and the Safety Management Training Academy (SMTA) Scholarship. The annual MTLI and SMTA programs, offered by the Association of Air Medical Services, are excellent continuing education opportunities for medical transport providers in all disciplines.
