Female students at both campuses of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University have been given a one-year membership in Women in Aviation, International. Students at both the Prescott, Arizona, campus and the Daytona Beach, Florida, campus are now full WAI members. The 1,372 Embry-Riddle students will receive all WAI member benefits.

The Helicopter Rescue and Response Association is in the pre-planning phases for the upcoming 2014 Helicopter Rescue Summit. The summit will take place on February 24, 2014 in conjunction with the Helicopter Association International's HELI-EXPO 2014, in Anaheim, California.

The Helicopter Museum in Weston-Super-Mare, England, has taken delivery of one of the few surviving Campbell Cricket gyroplanes, built at Membury in Wiltshire in the late 1960s as a single-seat development of the original US designed Bensen B.8M gyrocopter.

The 17th Annual Rotorfest Airshow will be held October 12-13, 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., at the American Helicopter Museum and Education Center. Attendees will have an opportunity to view helicopters up close and talk with the pilots. The Misty Blues Parachute Jumping team will also be jumping, and local food vendors, plus rides and music will add to the festivities.
