The U.S. House of Representatives Appropriations Committee has released a Fiscal Year 2014 Department of Transportation spending bill which includes legislative language that specifically precludes "the availability of funds for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to finalize or implement any regulation that would promulgate new aviation user fees not specifically authorized by law."

The executives and staff of Helicopter Association International on Thursday, June 6, 2013, moved into the association's new headquarters facility, located a few blocks away from its previous location in Alexandria, Va. The new, larger space allows HAI to meet growth requirements to better serve members and provides office space, classrooms, and meeting room facilities for visiting members.
