Dr. Gordon A Jiroux, President and CEO of Universal Helicopters, was on the Dodge City Community College campus for the first ever Universal Helicopters Technical Education Scholarship Reception. A student from each of the twenty-two technical education programs at DCCC was presented with a $1,000 scholarship by Dr. Jiroux.

Dalian Municipality has taken delivery of its second EC155 B1 for missions ranging from surveillance, rescue and anti-terrorism, to fire-fighting, troop airlift and the transportation of personnel. With the resumption of EC225 commercial flights by BHS Helicopter, OMNI and Aeróleo Taxi Aéreo in Brazil, all operators using this Eurocopter helicopter around the globe have now reinstated service.

West Bengal, India (The Hindu) - The maiden flight of the West Bengal government's helicopter service to four destinations in the State took off on Dec. 29.
