Boulder City, Nev. (Las Vegas Review Journal) - No one was hurt Jan. 1 after a tour helicopter on a test flight made a hard landing at the Boulder City Airport. Only the pilot was on board Papillon's Eurocopter EC130 when it landed about 3:05 p.m. after a maintenance test flight.

Dr. Gordon A Jiroux, President and CEO of Universal Helicopters, was on the Dodge City Community College campus for the first ever Universal Helicopters Technical Education Scholarship Reception. A student from each of the twenty-two technical education programs at DCCC was presented with a $1,000 scholarship by Dr. Jiroux.
