Forbes Magazine reported on Wednesday that the FAA will approve a request by seven aerial photography companies and the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) for an exemption to rules that prohibit commercial use of unmanned aerial systems. The announcement will reportedly be made on Thursday afternoon, September 25.

Alexandria, Va. - It has come to our attention that several unaffiliated wholesale hotel/travel groups have been soliciting HAI HELI-EXPO participants, offering hotel accommodations for HAI HELI-EXPO 2015. These unofficial companies may be offering wholesale or discounted hotel pricing. Neither HAI nor Connections Housing, the only official HAI HELI-EXPO housing bureau, can verify the authenticity of such companies or their representations, and will not be able to provide a resolution to issues related to such reservations.
