The FAA has issued a superseding emergency airworthiness directive for all serial numbers of Enstrom Helicopter models F-28A, F-28C, F-28C-2, F-28C-2R, F-28F, F-28F-R, 280, 280C, and 280FX, as well as model 480 with serial numbers 5001 through 5006. The superseding AD is the result of an ongoing investigation into a fatal accident earlier this year.

(Waco, Texas) - FreeFlight Systems announced they have received European Aircraft Safety Agency (EASA) certification for the 1203C SBAS/GNSS sensor. The system is currently FAA certified to TSO-C145c, and now has the additional certification of ETSO-C145c.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) published its proposed Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) (“Small Drones”) rule in the Federal Register on February 23, 2015. Comments on the proposed rule are due to the FAA by Friday, April 24, 2008, and can be submitted electronically through www.regulations.gov, the federal rulemaking portal.
