Scheduled for April 21, 2012 at the Texas Military Force’s historic Camp Mabry in the heart of Austin, Texas, the admission-free American Heroes event is now 60 days in front of us and we hope you are planning to participate.

Produced at sites around the nation by volunteers with a passion for aviation and public service, the American Heroes Air Show is the nation’s premier admission-free, helicopter only aviation event designed to profile helicopters & demonstrate their unique value to the public, media and elected officials with static displays and exciting flight demonstrations.

In addition to an exciting air show, this admission-free event includes:

 Join us when the American Veteran’s Traveling Tribute’s Cost of Freedom presentation arrives to Honor - Respect - Remember our Veterans and first responders with their scale replica of the Vietnam Memorial Wall.
 AMERICAN Anthem Presentation - participate in a compelling naturalization ceremony as serving members of the U.S. military and others recite their Oath of Allegiance and become our newest U.S. Citizens while standing before AVTT’s replica of the Vietnam Memorial Wall.
 CODE3 Career Fair – recruiting teams are on-scene to profile careers in public safety, government service, homeland security and national defense.
 SAR SITE1 - local Search & Rescue teams roll out with emergency vehicles, equipment displays, demos and family outdoor safety tactics.

About American Heroes Air Show
Developed in 1993, the American Heroes Air Show profiles helicopters’ crucial role in law enforcement, public safety, communications, Search & Rescue as well as homeland security and national defense. The event highlights rotary-wing aviation capabilities with static displays and exciting demonstrations.

Welcome the American Veterans Traveling Tribute as they team up with the U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Service for a special Naturalization Ceremony for members of the U.S. military and others as they become America’s newest citizens!

Additional event elements host recruiting teams that deliver information to the community on careers in law enforcement, public service and the military. Vendors and public agencies deliver resources, information and products/services to help families and the community prepare for, react to and recover from a variety of natural disasters and homeland emergencies.
