The U.S. Senate has now further delayed a vote on the continuing resolution (CR) to keep the government funded past October 1 for six months.

A vote has now been scheduled for 1:00 a.m. Sat., Sept. 22, with the continuing resolution's final passage possibly delayed until Sunday. The U.S. House of Representatives passed their version of the bill last week.
