Select a flight path as far as possible from noise sensitive areas; otherwise, fly alongside the noisiest land routes (highways, railways, industrial parks)

  • Fly no lower than 1,000 feet AGL, if possible.
  • Fly on the downwind side of noise sensitive areas, if possible.
  • Maintain steady flight avoiding large pedal movements.
  • Fly with the noise sensitive areas on the left hand side of the helicopter.
