Montreal, CANADA  - (NYSE: CGT; TSX: CAE) - CAE has appointed new management in Asia as part of its strategy to expand its presence in emerging markets. Sébastien Caire was named Vice President, Asia and Australasia, and Suzanne Roy was appointed Vice President, India.

Sébastien Caire is responsible for all civil aviation training and services business activities in Asia and Australasia (except India and the Middle East) and is based in Kuala Lumpur. Sébastien Caire joined CAE in 2001 and has held key managerial positions, including most recently the position of General Manager for CAE's Madrid training centre where he was responsible for leading CAE's joint venture with Iberia.

Suzanne Roy is leading the execution of all CAE's initiatives in India, and is based in Bangalore. She originally joined CAE in 2005 as Vice-President, Program Management, with responsibility for the global Program Management team overseeing CAE's Civil Simulation Products fabrication and implementation programs.

In Malaysia, CAE partnered with AirAsia to build a training centre of excellence in Kuala Lumpur, CAE's newly selected Southeast Asian training hub. Zhuhai Flight Training Centre is the largest independent flight training facility in China for both pilot and technical training. In India, CAE's Bangalore training centre is in development, as is national flight academy Rajiv Gandhi National Flying Training Institute, owned by CAE and the government of India. CAE is the managing partner of the Indian government's flight training academy, Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi (IGRUA).
