Alexandria, Va. – HAI is currently representing the interests of the helicopter industry at the 2012 Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) Aviation Summit in Palm Springs, Calif.
Running from Oct. 11-13, the summit provides an opportunity to learn about the latest general aviation (GA) issues. Visitors can take in more than 100 hours of seminars, see product demonstrations, learn about the latest in cutting-edge technology, and view a wide array of general aviation aircraft on display at Airportfest.

Throughout the summit, HAI President Matt Zuccaro has been meeting with numerous attendees seeking information on how to become a helicopter pilot. Zuccaro has also met with attending HAI members; representatives from the FAA; presidents of other GA associations, including from AOPA, NBAA, GAMA, and NATA; and companies exhibiting at HAI’s HELI-EXPO®. He even took the time to talk with HAI member, Harrison Ford.
