We're looking for a highly talented AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE ENGINEERS (SERVICE CENTRE & ASSEMBLY/FLIGHT LINE), so if you or someone you know is qualified then we want to hear from you!
Reporting to the Service Centre Supervisor, the Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME), will be responsible for working on the conversion of AS 350 aircraft, completing inspections and rebuilding of aircraft.
Reporting to the Flightline Completions Supervisor, the Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) will be responsible for working on the completion of new EC120, AS 350 and EC 130 aircraft. Completions include various installations and inspections as well as carrying out ground and flight testing of aircraft.
Working to deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail, the AME's will complete major inspections in accordance with aircraft documentation and Transportation Canada requirements as necessary to return aircraft to full service. This may include:
. STC kit installations
. AS350 upgrades D to B/A/B2 mechanical modifications
. Light sheet metal as required
. Tail rotor/short shaft balancing
. Flight test/main rotor track and balancing
. Cabin anti vibration tuning
. Fault finding and snag rectification
. Engine removal/tear down with buildup and installation
. Severe incident rebuilds
. Ground runs and flight test
And if your track record shows you have:
. Three to five years experience as a licensed AME
. Specialized tooling experience for various maintenance tasks
. Experience with scheduled and unscheduled maintenance inspections. (12yr, Hard landing etc.)
. Previous experience on Eurocopter products (specifically AS 350)
. Customer centric philosophy (internal and external)
. Experience in a cross functional manufacturing environment
And if you have:
. AME diploma or certifications would be an asset
. Excellent problem solving, organizational and planning abilities
. Excellent oral and written communication and listening skills
. Self-motivated, ability to work with minimal supervision as well as part of a team
